A second one-time commitment to Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class is heading to USC.
Defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui, who decommitted from the Ducks last week, committed to the Trojans on Tuesday. The move was expected from the four-star prospect, who visited USC last month.
The 6-foot-3, 320-pound Topui, from Mater Dei High School in California, is rated the No. 15 defensive lineman and No. 130 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings.
He joins four-star quarterback Jonas Williams as former Oregon commits to flip to USC in this year’s recruiting cycle. They are two of 18 commits to USC’s 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 1 in the 247Sports Composite.
However, Oregon’s class, which ranks No. 6, has a higher average rating per commitment (93.7) than USC (92.44).
There are eight commits in Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class: five-star tight end Kendre Harrison; five-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene; four-star running back Tradarian Ball; four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland; four-star linebacker Tristan Phillips; three-star safety Xavier Lherisse; three-star defensive lineman Viliami Moala and three-star edge rusher Dutch Horisk.
